Andy Naylor is a Docent and Researcher at Uppsala University in Sweden, leading a research group to develop more sustainable, safer and environmentally-friendly battery materials. Andy's main interests are in studying and engineering interfaces within rechargeable batteries, in particular by employing surface analysis techniques such as photoelectron spectroscopy.
Andy was awarded master and doctorate degrees from the University of Southampton (UK) and held Research Fellow positions at the University of St Andrews (UK), then the University of Oxford (UK). He moved to Uppsala University in 2017 and was appointed as Docent in April 2022.
